The Islands that make up Musisi Kingdom
The Islands are located in North Western part of lake Nalubalwe Victoria) in south central Uganda and does not have any attachment on the mainland of Uganda.Musisi kingdom covers an area of 9,066.8 kilometers squared which is 3500.7 square miles. Musisi Kingdom are inhibited by Bantu speaking Tribe of Basisi, the language is Lusisi and is distinct though similar to Lusoga, Lunyoro and Luganda. The Buganda Kingdom should have first recognized the tribes but having no royal voice it was not recognized .With the ongoing great program of National registration, it would have been better the government to wait and recognize all the tribe according to the way they had been filled on those forms. This has made it a little difficult as to register other tribes.
1.Bugala Islands(this where Kalangala town if found, hence the name of the district is derived from there).Lugo was a parish of king Mukasa who planted that forest where Damula of Buganda is cut wrongly.
2.Bubembe Islands: This Island is where we find sikibonaga palace of king Mukasa. the payment of tributes to this Island was wrong.
3.Bukasa Island. this is the home of the royal family of Sese at Bugambo village where rain or shine a Kabaka of Buganda can never sleep. This is legally where Damula and the tribute are supposed to be obtained and paid respectively.
4.Kome Island. This is the second biggest Island in Sese Islands where king Semusulo had built a unit of forces at Busanga in defence of Bukasa from the east.

1.The Islands has been occupied by the Basese for 4000 years with the first one to arrive in these Islands. being Salongo Bukuku I.
2.Sese kingdom is the oldest establishment in the history of east africa,which covered the whole of Nalubalwe sea.
3.Sese Island as a kingdom is Kasngwawo originaly autonomous from which every thing the Buganda has copied.
4.The throne of Sese has been active as history itself.
5.Sese kingdom status has been of the exhalted one(Busuku Lumu).
6.Sese kingdom created Buganda kingdom on a traditional agreement Tontabalanga Nange where the two Bukulu of Sese and Kintu of Buganda agreed that the two Kingdoms exist independent of each other.
7.It was a must for all the kings of Buganda to pay tribute at Bukasa not Bubembe,first to Sese Islands.
8.Omulamula (instrument of power) which acted as the opening and closing key of the alliance, above all the physical sign of the unwritten agreement between Sese and Buganda kingdom.
9.From the time of Kintu to date,all kings of Buganda do not sleep in Sese Islands in recorgnition of Sese kingdom.
10.The royal family of Sese at Bugambo,Bukasa Island is the founding father of the royal family of Buganda kingdom for that issue,that family does not bow down before any Kabaka of Buganda.
11.Meeting between Sese and Buganda takes place only and only in Sese Islands.
12.The ruling family of Sese Islands is of Nvuma clan (abenono)at Bugambo Sese Islands.
13.It should be noted that Sese kingdom has its own constitution which has never been halted.
14.It was only the sleeping sickness that brought all the mess in Sese kigdom.
